Safeway Rally!

This past week, Tom Thumb (a.k.a Safeway) has had a savings rally in which when certain products in a list are purchased, then you will get a catalina that is a credit on your next purchase. The best deal is that when 25 or more items are purchased, then you get a $20 catalina toward your next order.

Well mom accordingly said that it was my time to complete this deal...so I went to work.

The beginning transactions started with me paying between one and three dollars. I decided that this was to much to spend, so I had to sit down and work out a different deal. After about five minutes of fiddling with some numbers and coupon amounts, I finally found a transaction that would be worth me going to a Tom Thumb...FREE!

I then began going around to the local grocery chain and slowly began to deplete their stock of supplies. I started on Friday and by the time Sunday rolled around, my favorite store had no stock of Frosted/Apple Cinnamon Cheerios. It was exciting seeing the shelf completely empty, not to mention knowing it was because of me!
